Dr. David Magee

Dr. David Magee grew up in various parts of Toronto, Ontario and graduated from the University of Toronto, first in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree and then in 1974 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

David has practiced in Wingham since 1974, first in solo practice for two years and then jointly with Dr. Ray Bateman. Recently, David and Ray welcomed Dr. Yang Liu as a partner under the banner Maitland Family Dental. Dr. Magee's special interests lie in the areas of endodontics ("root canal"), reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry, as well as oral surgery and he hopes to focus on these areas in the future years in practice.

David currently resides on a farm just outside Wingham with Lynne, his wife of 37 years, where they breed, train, and race Standardbred horses. Dr. Magee's other interests include playing golf and hockey, automobiles, computer technology, music of all kinds, and photography. David is looking forward to spending more time pursuing these activities in the years ahead.

David and Lynne raised three children in Wingham and are now enjoying their two grandchildren.
