Introducing Dr. Yang Liu and Maitland Family
Dental
For well
over thirty years we have been fortunate to practice dentistry in
Wingham. We have enjoyed the lifestyle and benefits, which only a
small town can provide, especially during those years when we were
raising our families. Several years ago, we began the search for a
young dentist who shared our values. That person would join our
practice as a partner and would continue to provide dental services
to the population of Wingham and its surrounding communities, long
after our retirement. We are pleased to say that our search has
been successful and that Dr. Yang Liu is now partnering with us
under the banner Maitland Family Dental at the familiar Josephine
Street location. With Dr. Liu, we will be able to accept new
patients and provide evening appointments. Dr. Liu has a keen
interest in all facets of dentistry and will bring new services,
including implant dentistry, to the practice.
Dr. Liu
obtained a degree in Physiology and moved forward to obtain his
dental degree at Western in London, graduating with Distinction.
Dr. Liu loves working with children and has done so for many years.
He has been a “Big Brother” and a counselor at a variety of
children’s camps. Dr. Lui has a keen interest in providing oral
health care to areas that are less fortunate and under serviced. He
has participated in outreach programs helping native children and
adults and plans to continue his volunteer work in third world
countries with the hope of improving quality of life through better
dental health. Shortly, Dr. Liu will visit China as part of a group
of dentists lecturing at dental schools there.
When not
practicing, Dr. Liu enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Most recently he went backpacking through Europe visiting France,
Italy, Germany, and Holland. He loves to travel, go camping, to
play and watch hockey and baseball, and he enjoys riding his
motorcycle. Dr. Liu lives in Wingham and he is looking forward to
becoming active in the community.
We are
excited that Dr. Yang Liu has chosen Wingham and especially our
practice. You are invited to come by anytime to meet Yang. We look
forward to working with him in the years ahead and we look forward
to introducing Dr. Yang Liu to all the patients of the practice. He
is the future of dentistry in Wingham!
